I met someone, he is amazing. But I have met amazing before and dived head long into drama. At some point you have to accept your part in all the broken relationships.
Love is definitely a fruit of patience and dillegence. Just because there is a beautiful seed doesnt mean, it has reached its full potential. I have to stop being content with seeds…I have to be able to be patient and go through the process.
Be able to sit in the uncomfortable space between potential and reality. That seems harder to do in a microwave world. We want everything now.
By we, I mean ME. I have been watching Married At First Sight Season 12 with my singles group at Church and I am fascinated the restraint some folks have. Like sleeping in the bed for weeks, with someone until you figure out you like them 🤣 (But then again, some folks were clearly not attracted to each other.)
Their waiting is wise. Intial physical attraction is no indicator of the emotional or spiritual health of a person. Narcissistic people are attractive, yet do not have the character qualities of a person able to have a healthy relationship. They thrive off of making people small. There is no win win with narcissists, only them.
But they be fine though and have skills….you end up with a soul tie to a demon.
