Dear Charmaine,
You opened up your heart to him because you truly cared. You didn’t expect anything in return, just wanted him to be happy and at peace.
You can’t help that your life at times becomes demanding and you can’t be the strong one in the relationship all the time.
At those moments you needed more. Something he in the moment couldnt provide. And though this makes you angry and fustrated you have to accept the situation as it is.
HE CANNOT GIVE YOU WHAT YOU NEED ! You knew this from the start, because you got into the relationship never looking for anything.
But at some point you do need a balanced relationship. Someone who understands that to love as Christ loves means while the other person doest ask for anything in return all the time, you give sacrificially because you love them.
Wow just had an epiphany doesn’t God ask for love ? God isnt a doormat that doesnt have needs…hmm.
